BBNet is delighted to announce that expressions of interest are now being accepted for a course in biorefining scale up, aimed at researchers and early stage innovators, focusing on the stages involved in taking a concept from laboratory scale research to commercial, marketable product or process.

This two day in-person course is designed to transform participants from having a primarily lab-based understanding of biotechnology process to possessing a more comprehensive and practical understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with industrial scale-up and commercialisation in biomass biorefining. A tour of one of the UK’s open access scale up centres, the Biorenewables Development Centre (BDC), will form part of the second day.
